An optimal carburetion is very important for a motorcycle for several reasons:

• the bike will have a smoother ride
• it will respond better to each opening of the throttle
• annoying empty spaces will be avoided
• the engine will have a better life

For optimal carburation we mean a correct ratio between air / petrol which is 14: 1 (carburetion with optimal ratio).
While, for example, there is a ratio of 10: 1 for fat carburation and 18: 1 for lean carburation (but it is better to stay away from these last 2 values) because if it is too lean we risk seizing our engine, while if it’s fat, we drown it.
